- BBBullitFeb 20, 20261.0Howdens Aston Very poor experience from start to finish. The kitchen plans were issued with incorrect measurements due to incompetent staff, which caused additional labour costs, transport expenses, and significant disruption. Despite admitting the mistake, Howdens refused to compensate for the financial loss their error created. Instead, they relied on “trade-only” disclaimers to avoid taking proper responsibility. Correcting the product does not undo the costs and stress caused. Accountability and customer care were seriously lacking. I expected far more professionalism from a company of this size. I would not use them again

Her aggressive tone and lack of basic interpersonal skills were disappointing and, in my view, unacceptable for a customer-facing leadership role. I believe this behaviour should be addressed by Howdens through appropriate training and management oversight. As the saying goes, “a complaint is a gift”—I hope this feedback provides Howdens with an opportunity to reflect and improve. Experiences like this risk undermining customer trust over time. On a positive note, Nick at the counter was excellent: polite, helpful, and highly professional.
